Metropolitan Energy Center

Metropolitan Energy Center creates resource efficiency, environmental health, and economic vitality in the Kansas City region. Formed in 1980 and incorporated as a nonprofit in 1983, MEC is a recognized catalyst for regional energy partnerships that satisfy the triple-bottom-line approach. MEC works in the following areas of emphasis:
